RTEX’s journey began in 1914 with a modest cloth business rooted in the values of honesty, craftsmanship, and perseverance. The years that followed tested these foundations, especially during the upheaval of 1947, when countless families were displaced and livelihoods were lost.
When our grandfather, S. Satnam Singh Ji, arrived in India, he started from almost nothing. Through tireless effort—working days and nights in humble jobs—he rebuilt not just a business, but a legacy founded on resilience and hard work.
In 1987, the next generation took a decisive step forward by establishing a small-scale weaving unit in Bajra village, Ludhiana. This marked RTEX’s transition from trading to manufacturing. The path was challenging, but each obstacle strengthened our resolve to grow and evolve.
Over the years, RTEX expanded from men’s suiting and shirting fabrics into a premium women’s wear brand. Today, we specialize in thoughtfully designed casual and semi-formal clothing for Indian women, blending quality fabrics with contemporary aesthetics.
Despite our growth, our core values remain unchanged. We are committed to uncompromising quality, ethical practices, and respect for both people and the environment.
Our manufacturing facility employs over 400 skilled men and women from across India. We actively invest in employee welfare, providing healthcare coverage under the Government of India’s ESI Scheme and maintaining safe, responsible, and sustainable working conditions.
RTEX is more than a clothing brand—it is a legacy woven through generations, driven by integrity, responsibility, and timeless craftsmanship.
